Tenant billing and collections for Majestic City. Utility readings, rent cycles and shared-service charges were being reconciled by hand across a few hundred units, which meant invoices went out late and disputes were settled from memory.
Reporting layer over the building management system at Kelun Pharmaceuticals. A GMP site has to evidence its environmental conditions, and the BMS held the data but could not produce the record an auditor asks for.
Controller and monitoring stack for a lift installation. The constraint was the one that always applies to embedded work in a building: it has to fail safe, and it has to keep behaving when the network in the riser does not.
Counter-side billing and stock control. Retail floors lose money the moment the till stops, so the till does not depend on the network being up — it queues locally and reconciles when the link returns.
Public site and enquiry pipeline for a tour operator. Enquiries were arriving across three channels and being answered from whichever one someone happened to check, so the work was as much about the intake as the pages.
Course delivery and enrolment for an online training provider at et-gtec.com. Students, cohorts and payments each lived in a separate tool, and the reconciliation between them was a person.
